Bommerang workshop aimed at children or adults, presented by the reigning Spanish Boomerang champion, Toncho Enev. Wine fair in Binissalem (runs until Sudnay 26 September)
12 pm – “Changing of the Guard of Honour in Palma”. A historic recreation of the changing of the guard of the guard of the old Palma Volunteer Regiment, which was raised by the Marquess of Vivot in 1808 to fight in the Spanish War of Independence. Starting at 12 pm parade and formation of the Guard of Honour. At 12.30pm changing of the Guard of Honour and at 1pm departure parade of the Guard of Honour all taking place in front of the Almudaina Palace.

Alcudia Jazz Festival with Hondurian jazz artist Eva Cortés at 10pm at Alcudia's Auditorium. Tickets 15 euros at the box office.

REI EN JAUME FESTIVITIES IN SANTA PONSA: at 12pm Medieval market at Santa Ponsa’s beach promenade. At 7'30pm dancing “ball dels escamots” at the Plaza de la Pinada in Santa Ponsa. At 8pm Moors parade from the Plaza de la Pinada passing through the Calle Puig de Galatzó to the roundabout and returning to the Plaza along the promenade. At 10pm concert with Ojos de Serpiente, Horris Kamoi and DJSor Maria Patatilla at the Plaza de la Pinada in Santa Ponsa.

REI EN JAUME FESTIVITIES IN SANTA PONSA: at 12pm XVI swim across Santa Ponsa bay departing from the beach. At 12pm Medieval market at Santa Ponsa’s promenade. At 5.30pm gathering of Christian ships at Santa Ponsa’s bay and the Moorish troops at the Santa Ponsa Cross. At 6pm landing of the Christians and gathering of the Moorish troops at the Santa Ponsa Cross. Procession of the Moors and Christians to follow from the Santa Ponsa Cross to the Playa Grande beach. The battles will take place at the Santa Ponsa Cross, on the Caló d’en Pellicer beach and on the Playa Grande in Santa Ponsa. The final battle is at the Santa Ponsa beach. At 11pm - Flower Power Party with music from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s at the Plaza de la Pinada in Santa Ponsa.

Mallorca Pop 2010 organised by the 40 Principales at the Playa de Palma, exit 10 (in front of Palma Aquarium) at 8pm. Guest artists include La Casa Rusa, La Musicalité, Tanga Team, Diego Martín, Georgina, Zenttric and Taxi. Free of charge.

DIADA DE MALLORCA: at 9.30am meeting of giants at the Consell of Mallorca (Palau Reial, 1) in Palma. From 11am to 2pm and 4pm to 8pm free guided visits at the Mallorca Council Building with musical performances by Joch de Ministrils. At 10.30am flower offering at Jaume II tomb. The giants will plant themselves at 10.30am at the Plaza Cort. From the Plaza de Cort to the Parc de les Estacions of Palma giant parade at 11am. At 8pm concert by Biel Majoral at Palma's Teatre Principal.

MUSIC IN CATALAN: 39 artists to perform starting at 4.30pm until 4am at the square and the church in Son Servera. Some artists include Cucorba, Tiu, Anegats or Es Reboster. Free of charge.

CCA EVENTS: traditional Irish music, music Kletzmer and Scott Joplin at 9pm at CCA Andratx Art Centre (C/Estanyera, 2) in Andratx.
